Thanks for watching my video (how to make a quill pen).
For anyone that made a quill; if you find that your quill pen tip is permanently staying spread apart slightly and not dispensing ink properly, there is an easy solution. Fold both sides of the tip inwardly with your finger or nail. Now the tips halves will be in line again. I usually do this every time I begin drawing.
Tip #2: use a lupe (16x) to check the tip before using it to be aware of it's condition.
Have fun. Quill pen drawing can be a fast and spontaneous medium.
Warning: Be careful about getting ink on your clothes or on someone next to you.
